- I love glass! I discovered lampworking in 2005 and have been in love with it ever since! I didn't get much torch time as I would have liked (barely any) but I kept plugging away, working on improving my skills. What kept me away from the torch, you ask? My 2 beautiful boys, ages 18 and 4 (both have b-days in September) and my full-time job as a Datafill Technician for a major company in the telecom industry. Perseverance and the little bit of practice I was able to get really paid off. In February, I started as a part time beadmaker for Arribas Brothers at Disney and at the end of August I became a full time glassblower (flameworker)! If you're ever at Epcot, be sure to stop by Mexico and say hello.
